Mountain Movers
Restoration Program

Landmarks

Farewell, Felicia

After almost a year and a half of developing and implementing our Mountain Movers Christian restoration program, Program Coordinator Felicia Durling is moving on to other opportunities. While she was here, Felicia shared from the depths of her heart and her experience to help many grow and heal. There are not enough words to express our thanks for her hard work and devotion. She has left a lasting mark on this ministry. Thanks, Felicia, for all the smiles and tears and inspiration. God bless you wherever to go.

The Shepherd’s House Awards Certificates to Programmers

In July, The Shepherd’s House held a ceremony to acknowledge the progress of our Mountain Movers programmers. We were proud to present certificates of achievement to the 2 men who have passed the 6-month mark and the 6 who have been in the program 3 months. These men were honored for their dedication to the hard work of moving the mountains that stand in the way of success in life.  Felicia Durling led the ceremony, adding a special insight or comment about each man, for each one of them is special and has been brought here for a reason. We applaud all of our programmers!

First Graduate Leads Study Group

Mike Lampton, who completed our program in March of this year, is facilitating our Changes That Heal study group. The material dovetails nicely with the Twelve Steps book we use in the Mountain Movers program. Mike is delighted to be sharing from his experience and helping his brothers move forward in their restoration.

Sixth Program Group Underway

The Shepherd’s House is happy to announce the launch of yet another group of men in our Mountain Movers restoration program. We are using The Twelve Steps—A Spiritual Journey, a scripture-based program, as our guide. It’s a journey of self-discovery in a support group environment, designed to help each one identify stumbling blocks and baggage that keep tripping us up on the road to success.
